My
career was as a Primary trained teacher for many years.
The last 20 years of my career was at a school for students
with learning disabilities.
In
1995 I was authorised as a Civil Marriage Celebrant. Since
then I have conducted many ceremonies -

Funerals
Commitment ceremonies for same sex couples
Renewal of Vows
Retirements
Significant Birthdays
House Warmings & Namings
The
only one of these ceremonies which requires government
authorisation before a person may solemnise it is a wedding.
Ask to see a celebrant's authorisation.
I
feel I am very privileged to be asked to conduct ceremonies
at such special times in people's lives. All ceremonies
are personally scripted to your needs and requests. If
you wish to write the ceremony yourself then I am happy
to assist or to follow your writing.
