After Glow
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
I'd like to leave an after glow of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.

A celebrant officiates usually at funeral parlours, the crematorium, or cemetery.

Family members, relatives, business associates may be invited to deliver the eulogy. The recollection of a personal ceremony is a constant consolation.

All essential information is mainly gained in an unhurried interview with the family

Carefully selected appropriate quotes of literature, selections of music specially chosen by the family

Every detail of the eulogy is carefully checked with the family

A presentation to the family of a complete copy of the ceremony

Words to express and celebrate the life of the person who has died, making sure that the person's beliefs and ideals are reflected in the ceremony

It is quite common for celebrant funerals to contain times of silence, the Lord’s Prayer, the 23rd Psalm and similar, if requested.

Another recent touch at the start of a celebrant funeral is for a family member to light a Remembrance Candle. Alternatively a bowl of sand may be provided with tapers for any of the mourners to light in memory of the person.

Pet Funerals

"In our garden repose the remains of those that possess beauty without vanity, strength without insolence, courage without ferocity, and the virtues of man without his vices: our pets"

Lord Byron

Understanding the pain of losing a beloved pet, to mourn for them the same as we mourn for our human friends and family.  In times of grief we all need the comfort of knowing we will be treated with respect.

If you are looking for a way to pay final respects and show your appreciation for all the love and devotion they have given you over the years, we can help.  Your pet's passage from this world is handled with compassion and understanding.

Alternatively I would be able to suggest a celebrant who specialises in pet ceremonies.
